Danica Janković
Danica Jankovic is a legal advisor at the Regional Center for Environmental Law.
Currently based in London, she is pursuing an LLM in Energy and Climate Change Law at Queen Mary University of London. She passed the bar in Serbia and holds a Master’s degree in EU Law from the Faculty of Law, with a master thesis focusing on the fossil fuel phase-out at the level on EU. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade in 2021 and completed part of her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, University of Bordeaux in France. An alumna of the Legal Clinic for Environmental Law and the School of Environmental Law within the Jean Monnet Chair at the University of Belgrade, she continues to engage in environmental legal studies.
Danica is the winner of the best student paper competition, organized by the Ministry of European Integration in 2022, with the topic “Energy crisis and the response to the crisis in the European Union – Examining the adequacy of the solutions undertaken from the perspective of climate change”. She is also the author of a number of publications related to Climate Change, Energy Law.
