The Regional Center for Environmental Law (RCEL) is pleased to invite you to an event dedicated to the presentation of the analysis “Collective Interest Lawsuit as a Mechanism for Environmental Justice”, which addresses one of the key challenges in contemporary environmental protection – access to justice in cases of violations of the right to a healthy environment in the Republic of Serbia.
The analysis examines the existing legal framework, its practical scope and limitations, as well as comparative legal solutions, with a particular focus on the potential introduction of collective interest lawsuits as an effective legal mechanism in environmental disputes.
During the event, key findings and recommendations of the analysis will be presented, followed by an open discussion on the challenges and possible future directions for the development of collective judicial protection in the field of environmental protection.
The final version of the analysis will be shared with participants after the event.
