MEMBER OF THE REGIONAL COUNCIL
Maja Kostić-Mandić

Maja Kostić-Mandić is a member of the Regional Council and an expert in environmental law at the Regional Center for Environmental Law.
She is a full professor at the University of Montenegro Faculty of Law in Podgorica.
During her doctoral studies she stayed at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne (as a Van Calker scholar), the Osaka International University, and the Central European University in Budapest. Currently she teaches the following courses to undergraduates: International private law; Environmental law; International environmental law. She teaches arbitration law and International environmental law to postgraduates.
As a member of the Montenegrin parliament between 2006 and 2009 she was a member of the parliamentary committee for constitutionality and legality; parliamentary committee for the political system, judiciary and local government; as well as a member of the ad hoc commission for the development of the Montenegrin constitution.
She is a member of the editorial board for the Proceedings of the Montenegrin Lawyers Association, and she has been a member of the Committee for Legal and Political Sciences at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2013. Since 2018 Maja has been the Vice President of the Montenegrin Lawyers Association.
